The last really crazy mainstream Alfa. Approaching classic status now, good early cars are getting harder and harder to find.
A proper Alfa coupe despite being front wheel drive. A very charismatic car whose design has stood the test of time. Reliable if loved.
You can have a 2.0 petrol or a 3.0 or later, a 3.2 V6. All are lovely; go for the V6 and do it properly if you can afford it. 2.0 litre cars are quite slow.
Buy with care ? the service history and paint condition are key. Spec and engine size matter much less than condition with these cars.
Pay as much as £4500 for a 10 year old 3.0 litre GTV in top condition. Or pick up an older 2.0 bargain in good condition for £1,800.
Depreciation is now flat. Engine size and condition are the key depreciation factors.
