An absolute hoot, the Copen is an oft-forgotten and undervalued mini-roadster that is both cheap and cheerful. You have to be small though.
An alternative to the StreetKa, the Copen runs a tiny rev-happy 700cc engine and has superb handling. But it feels incredible flimsy and a bit frightening at speed.
There are few spec and trim options with the Copen. Go for leather to help re-sale.
Buy on age and condition. Make sure the car has a good service history as it's a fairly obscure choice and won't be cheap to fix if it breaks.
Pay around £4000 for a 7 year old car with around 40,000 miles on the clock.
