A tiny little 4X4 from Daihatsu that offers genuine off road ability but is otherwise pretty forgettable. It won't ever break, but after a while you might wish it would...
If you need a cheap, tough 4X4 then the Terios makes some sense. Otherwise reasons to recommend the car are few; it's very basic.
It's petrol only with the Terios. You can have either 1.3 or 1.5 power but, really, it makes little difference. It won't break though. The Terios is as tough as they come.
If you have to buy one, then go for a 1.5 5 Door petrol in S spec.
A 1.5 S-Spec, Terios will cost bang on £13,000 with around 20,000 miles showing.
The Terios takes a massive hit nearly new. Buy safely at 2 years to avoid this. The car will lose value steadily but heavily thereafter. Not one for re-sale.
