Agricultural, tough pick-up from Ford in the mold of the Toyota Hi-Lux. Brutal yet oddly flimsy and possibly the worst car you could choose as a daily driver.
As a road car there is nothing to recommend the Ranger. If you regularly carry loads of heavy, pointy stuff it might make sense but otherwise, no.
Go diesel. The rare petrol cars are underpowered.
The Thunder double cab is probably the best choice. That just about says it all really. Unless you must, then don't.
Pay £9,000 for a 5 year old Thunder Double Cab with around 65,000 miles on the clock.
Depreciation on this car is highly affected by mileage an condition as these are basically commercial vehicles. Just get a clean one.
