Banzai! One of the greatest sports cars Japan has produced. Small, stylish, fast and well equipped, the S2000 is pretty much peerless. Totally and utterly dependable as well.
The engine redlines at a massive 9000 RPM. A small cabin, but tight gear change, light but firm clutch and absolutely neutral handling make this a car geek's dream.
There are very few trim options with this car and it's manual only. The S2000 avoids all the usual sports car hassle by being Honda and thus very unlikely to break.
Major revisions around 2002 altered the geometry of the rear suspension making the car less tail happy. These are probably the ones to go for unless you are Fernando Alonso.
