If it looks big from the outside, just wait until you climb aboard the i800. It affords 7 passengers as much room as Chrysler's Grand Voyager, but for less money. Frugal diesel engines and Hyundai's 5-year warranty should keep running costs down too.
More like a small mini-bus than a big MPV, while passenger refinement is good, the driving experience is not. The engine is agricultural, the gear change cumbersome and the driving position, van-like.
The trick with the i800 is not to compare it to other i800s with differing spec - just compare it to the cars in it's class - next to which they really are all a bargain.
Don't worry about spec. It's diesel only, manual only - Style appears to be the optimum trim choice. It doesn't really matter though.
Pay £17,000 for a 2 year old Hyundai i800 in Style spec. The car should have covered no more than 10,000 miles.
There will be a big drop nearly new and these cars will continue to suffer quite heavy depreciation. Buy and sell at any time.
