The Matrix is a small MPV from Hyundai. Can't think of anything else to add really. A perfectly competent but incredibly dull illustration of the car from the white goods theory of motoring.
The Matrix can do all the things a small MPV should be able to do - it just does them in a very dull, and very cheap way. Roomy and reliable, economical and honest. But dull, dull, dull.
The diesel cars are rare and priced slightly higher than petrols. Go petrol auto for the ultimate painless user interface.
1.8 CDX auto if you must. But must you? For the same price you could have a Focus.
Pay £4800 for a 4 year old 1.8 petrol auto in CDX trim. Or don't.
Buy at 4 years or pay a heavy price.
