The G-37 is Infiniti’s take on the BMW 3-series. Like that car, it’s rear wheel drive and powered by a six cylinder engine. The G-37 has the advantage of using the brutal 3.7 V6 from the Nissan 370Z. It’s a left-field but credible choice.
The G-37 lacks the final percentile of polish that makes the BMW so very good and the seats and driving position are far from ideal. But it’s a close thing and the Infiniti is the nicer car to be in, with the better dealers and, it’s pretty rare.
It’s the 3.7 V6 only with this car. Which makes it cheap secondhand and that can only be a good thing.
Buy whichever is closest in the spec you want. Auto or petrol is the only choice really. High spec S cars have four wheel steer, which can be an acquired taste.
Pay £25,000 for a two year old car with less than 25,000 miles on the clock.
Anytime is ok to buy. Depreciation is milder than you think as the cars are so rare and there is a small but strong following.
