The replacement for the excellent 350Z, the 370Z is a little more daring and little more capable on every level. It combines a big V6 with superb handling, loads of excitement and Nissan reliability. Utterly Brilliant.
If you really like traditional, big engine sports cars then the 370Z is for you. It's fast and tough, looks great and handles in an effective, if brutish, manner and really, majors on a clear connection between car and driver. We love it.
There 370Z GT is the one to go for as it has all the goodies but there's only one engine ? the 3.5 litre petrol. One for the purists. Auto is very good.
As even the basic cars come so well equipped in the traditional Nissan way fashion, just choose on mileage and price. Convertibles go for around the same money as coupes. You can't go wrong with any really!
Pay less than £25,000 for a year old car with around 10,000 miles on the clock. Convertibles start at around £26,000 for a year old, for one with less than 10,000 miles showing.
Around 3 years with its first MOT would be a good time to buy. Depreciation should be fairly gentle after this point. As this is a very new car.
Used Car Expert recommends that you try to buy after a big drop in depreciation and before the next one, so with the current Nissan 370z you would aim to buy a 4 year old and you can keep it for some time before needing to worry about a big drop in value.
