The Previa is a full size, 7 seat MPV that competed with the likes of the Ford Galaxy and Renault Espace. It's very, very well built, reliable but ever so Gangsta and pretty dated style wise.
The Previa is genuinely nice to drive, effortless and very comfortable for all on board. It won't break either. Nor will it excite you in any way. Probably a good thing...
The diesel cars are manual only - any diesel auto you find will be an import. The Previa is at it's nicest with the 2.4 petrol motor.
Go for a low miles petrol auto - don't worry greatly about spec at this price point in the market. Make sure it's had an easy life.
Pay around £8000 for a 7 year old 2.4 auto petrol Previa. A comparable diesel will set you back £1000 more and will have 10,000 or so more miles on the clock.
Depreciation is likely to vary greatly on these cars and is highly affected by age, specification and mileage.
