The Verso is Toyota's current entrant in the mid range MPV market. It's full of some very talented cars like the Zafira, C-Max and Touran. The Verso is competent but lacks flair in comparison to these cars.
The Verso has good accommodation and, dead steering aside, drives well. It rides smoothly - it's just that it's about as interesting as being stuck in a lift with Steve Davis.
Go petrol. The 1.6 is refined if a little slow. The diesels are too expensive and put this car up against machines it cannot compete with such as the S-MAX.
Go for a petrol Verso in T2 spec. - Get an auto if you do the school run, make it as painless as you can.
Pay less than £13,000 for a 3 year old 1.6 petrol Verso in T2 spec.
Buying at 1 year old can make a lot of sense, as can a 4 year old. In between you run the risk of being caught out.
