AUDI'S latest offering is a super coupe aimed at the discerning driver who wants to cut a dash and is prepared to spend the cash.
The A7 Sportback starts at £43,750 and comes with a huge array of sophisticated electronic wizardry.
This includes a head-up display, automatic parking, a night vision camera and even a mobile Internet connection.
This is the 35th model in Audi’s ever-growing range and sees the company treading new ground.
It’s a shapely five door, four seat luxury hatch with plenty of space in the rear and enough boot space to make it a grand tourer.
Engines will be 3 litre V6 diesel with 245bhp and 3 litre petrol with 300, plus a 2.8 petrol with 204.
The diesel is said to blitz to 60 in 6.3 seconds while the 3.0-litre petrol cuts that to 5.6.
Only 3,000 a year are going to be available, so get your oar in now if you want one. It goes on sale in January.
Interior
The night vision system, using a thermal imaging camera, costs £2,100 extra while the state of the art sat nav linked to Google Earth is another £1,500.
The cockpit is immensely purposeful with plenty of instruments, buttons, switches and displays all around.
