HONDA is adding three years’ complimentary servicing plus a range of flexible finance options to selected new cars until the end of March.
And the Japanese company is also aiming to ease the pain of the New Year VAT rise by absorbing the price increase for customers throughout this month.
The servicing offer, on all new CR-V, Insight and CR-Z hybrid models, is combined with Honda’s standard one year’s road side assistance and three-year new car warranty.
Prices are also being held on all CR-V, CR-Z, Insight and Accord models and selected Civic variants until the end of this month – the saving on a new Accord 2.0 ES GT being £443.
Spanish car maker SEAT is also getting in on the act by extending its VAT-free offer across much of its range and complementing it with a new ½ VAT deal that amounts to a ten per cent discount.
Starting with SEAT’s biggest seller the Ibiza SC and five-door model, the VAT-free offers apply to 1.4 Chill and 1.4 85PS petrol models while all other versions excluding entry level cars benefit from the ½ VAT discount.
All versions of the third ‘silhouette’ in the Ibiza line-up, the ST, enjoy the VAT-free deal.
Moving up to the Leon family-sized five-seat hatch, VAT-free deals apply to S Emoción and all petrol models excluding entry and Cupra R versions while Cupra R and all diesel models excluding entry and S Emoción versions qualify for the ½ VAT discount.
And it’s a similar story with the Altea, Exeo and seven-seat Alhambra models, while the retail campaign - which ends on March 31 - is also available to small fleet customers (sub-25 cars) who buy their vehicles outright.
