ONE of the cars that wowed the crowd at the Geneva Motor Show was the Range Rover Evoque convertible concept, and if Land Rover don’t make it they want their heads read.
It is stunning from every angle and the price won’t matter – because everyone who thinks they are anyone will want to be seen in it.
Look at that shape! It’s more eye-catching than a Maserati and looks more fun than a Ferrari.
Gerry McGovern’s design team have done a cracking job, retaining the Evoque’s sporty 4x4 lines to make something highly desirable.
The soft-top convertible is based on the Evoque three door and has a fully retracting roof with roll over protection built in.
It combines stunning looks with the capability of a drop-down tailgate and a comfortable four seat interior.
And it’s a Land Rover, so as well as looking good, it comes with all that names means in terms of off-road ability plus the Evoque’s excellent on-road manners.
Interior
Inside, it is packed with award winning technology including Terrain Response, surround cameras, Park Assist and a class leading infotainment system featuring an eight-inch dual view touch screen.
The concept has leather seats and snazzy 21-inch wheels.
