I want to buy a second hand Jaguar XK but I need some help with all the available options. I can afford the first of the new style XK8, or an older style XKR. What are they like performance wise? Aesthetically the newer model just scrapes it, but i also love the older style. Also is the older syle XK8 worth a look?

Do you think that the new XK looks similar to a Hyundai Coupe? I do and I don’t think anyone should pay that much money for a Hyundai look-a-like with less warranty.
I am with you, the older style was far superior. Performance-wise the old XK8 4.2 litre Auto does 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and the new one pips it, crossing the line in 5.9 seconds.
So, my advice is, buy the older one and be 0.3 seconds late for work everyday.
