I have a 2001 Renault Clio 1.5dci the heater fan has stopped working any suggestions as to the fault ?

Hi Trevor,
Our ‘Used Car Expert buyers guide’ includes this as a common fault. If the fan isn't running, it leads to overheating which is usually caused by a faulty temperature switch. Some garages recommend this should be replaced every 5 - 8 years. It costs around £100 (fitted).
