The Top Technician panel of judges has sifted through the Top 20 question papers and we can now present the final 12 contenders for the Top Technician 2008 title who will battle it out in the live finals.

Now their professionalism, quick thinking and attention to detail will be put to the test. They face a series of practical challenges, from which the winner and two runners up will be decided. The live finals will take place on stand 9-431 at Workshop 2008 between 15 and 17th April at the NEC in Birmingham. The winner will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on June 9th at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Top Technician is an annual competition that seeks to recognise, reward and inspire professionalism in vehicle service and repair. The winner of Top Technician 2008 will receive a tax-free prize of £2,500, a Snap-on SOLUS scanner, a Palmer Sport driving experience from Comma, Bosch technical books, a Vedis machine from Euro Car Parts and tickets to the GEA Aftermarket Technical Workshop, on top of priceless publicity for his or her place of work.
