THE Alfra Brera and its sister soft top the Spider are both stunning cars in their own right.

They look fast standing still and from every angle, and if you want to stand out from the crowd, this could be the one to get you up there.

They are truly beautiful from every angle, and come with a range of exceptional engines.

Petrol units start with the 2.2 JTS, which has 185bhp and go on up past the 1,750 TBi turbo with 197bhp, to the scintillating and captivating 3.2 V6 with 256bhp.

The diesels are a very good 167bhp 2.0-litre turbo and the 2.4JTDM five cylinder, with either 200 or 207bhp.

There is not a BMW or a Mercedes that can compare to those lines and both men and women lust after it.

Both are two seaters and have the most marvellous road holding and handling.

Interior

The ride is pretty harsh and could do with being smoothed out a little for our rough roads in this country but inside, the cabin is beautifully laid out and most have leather upholstery.

If that’s not enough for you these cars were built when Alfa got the reliability right and so with full service history, they should last.
