THE high performance version of Audi's TT roadster will cost from £33,080 when it goes on sale in the summer.
The price for the TTS is a premium of some £1,500 over the current range topping 3.2-litre V6 TT. Coupe versions will be priced from £35,080.
Both coupe and roadster TTS models will feature Audi's magnetic ride adaptive damping system and are said to be capable of 0 to 60mph in around 5.5 seconds.
Top speed is limited to 155mph and average fuel economy will be in the region of 35mpg with CO2 emissions of 191g/km for the coupe and 194 for the roadster.
The TTS is fitted with a six speed manual gearbox as standard with the option of S tronic twin-clutch transmission for an extra £1,400.
Revisions to the 2.0-litre turbo charged and directly fuel injected petrol engine that already powers the TT have enabled its power to be boosted from 200PS to 272PS for the TTS.
Externally the TTS features bi-xenon headlamps incorporating Audi's distinctive LED daytime running strip lights.
The TTS also has a redesigned front apron incorporating larger air intakes and aluminium-look door mirror housings as well as deeper side skirts and 18-inch alloy wheels, which can be upgraded to 19-inch '5-spoke star' alternatives for an additional £750.
Inside, the TTS has two-tone leather sports seats, exclusive 'S' instruments with white needles, metal pedals and special aluminium trim inserts.
Audi has also announced a range of S line sports models for its A4 series.
The new specification, which includes the LED headlamps, lower suspension and trim upgrades will be priced from £23,490 - an increase of £2,500 over the current SE models.
To coincide with the introduction of the S line A4, Audi is also launching a new version of its 1.8-litre FSI petrol engine.
Developing 120PS, the new engine gives the A4 1.8 TFSI a 0-60mph time of 10.5 seconds, a top speed of 130mph and 39.8mpg combined economy, with 169g/km CO2 output.
