Here's an example fault on the BENTLEY Continental GT
What to look for:
With the engine switched off, open the bonnet and shine a torch in between the ‘slam panel’ (the casing above the radiator that the bonnet ‘slams’ into) and the front of the engine. There you will see the drivebelt tensioner – check around this area and around the belt itself for sign of oil leaks.
What it means:
This tensioner will need to be replaced if damaged.
What to do
If you find this fault and the car is under warranty (3 years) then Bentley may repair the vehicle for free. Otherwise, try to reduce the price by £800.
