A HIGH specification Chevrolet Captiva 4x4 is being hailed by the American car maker as a budget alternative to the likes of a Range Rover Sport or BMW X5.
The range topping Captiva LTZ will be priced from £27,305 and includes satellite navigation, a parking camera and leather upholstery.
Powered by a two-litre diesel engine developing 150PS, the seven seat LTZ will also be available with an automatic gearbox costing £28,630.
The manual has a claimed average fuel consumption of 38.2mpg with CO2 emissions of 197g/km while the auto is said to average 32.8 with a CO2 figure of 225g/km.
Other standard equipment fitted to the LTZ includes climate control, cruise control, an electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic lights and wipers, 18-inch alloys and privacy glass.
