FREE guide exposes faults on this car!
Before you buy a Chrysler 300C (2007 - Present) there are 12 common
faults or wear items that you should check for. Our research amongst the
experts that work on this specific model everyday, has identified:
- 2 engine check(s) to make
- 5 interior item(s) that you need to ensure work

Our three-stage process makes it easy (even if you know nothing about cars)
to spot these potential problems. For each fault we tell you:
- What to look for (this is written so that it is easy to understand
even if you know nothing about cars)
- What it means if you find the fault
- What to do (here we give you the streetwise options)
Here is just one example check for Chrysler 300C (2007 - Present) :
What to look for
Open the bonnet of the car with the engine off - making sure first that the engine is cold - lift up the engine cover (you don’t have to undo any bolts or clips for this) – you will see a large duct running from the back of the engine to the front. This is the turbo hose which transports hot oil from one side of the engine to the other. Lift it up and check underneath for evidence of oil leaking into middle of the engine.
What it means (if you find this fault)
If you find this fault then it is likely that oil is leaking out of the turbo hose and falling onto the swirl motor which is underneath. This damages the swirl motor which is integral to the running of the engine as it powers the turbo. If you find this fault the swirl motor will need to be replaced.
What to do (your options)
If the car is under warranty (3 years/60,000miles) or at a dealer then Chrysler/Jeep may repair the defect for free. Otherwise try to negotiate a £1000.00 discount or have the repair completed as part of the deal.

Most car buyers are so worried about avoiding technical problems, they totally overlook the biggest rip-off of all!
Most insurance companies won’t tell you this, but they charge you less money in your first year with them, to encourage you to switch your insurance.
They know most people won’t bother switching in a year’s time, so they slowly ‘claw back’ the money with annual increases. If you don’t change your insurance provider every year you will be wasting hundreds of pounds!
We know it’s a hassle, so we make it really quick and easy for you to check the best offers around! And when the time is right for you. |
