THINGS are certainly swinging for Citroën's new C3 supermini after its debut back in December.

It's the car which gives an extraordinary panoramic view through the its Zenith windscreen.

This windscreen is a Citroen creation which is 36% larger than a conventional windscreen on an average five-door small car and has been designed to deliver an all-new motoring experience for driver and passengers alike.

The new C3 is also one of Citroen's most fuel and CO2 efficient cars and it is the first production Citroen with a model emitting less than 99g/km of CO2.

It comes well speced and is priced from £10,790 for the entry level petrol model rising to £16,140 for the range topping 1.6 HDI 110bhp Exclusive derivative.

The C3 is joined by the DS3, which although based on the supermini is available in a wide variety of choices, with almost as many options as a MINI. It's priced from £11,900 and adds a personal touch to the Citroen line up.

Meanwhile, the highly popular Citroen C1 gets a smart upgrade - thanks to the introduction of a stylish new VTR+ trim level.

The frugal Citroën C1 is one of the most environmentally and economically considerate cars on the road today with both engines emitting less than 110g/km of CO2 and offering fuel economy of up to 68.9mpg on the combined cycle. The nippy C1 range starts at £8,495 for the 1.0 68bhp three-door VT rising to £10,645 for the 1.4 VTR+.

Due to its success, Citroën has also announced that production of the generously speced C1 Splash Special Edition will continue during 2010 with pricing from £9,045.

The Citroen line-up also includes the likes of the entertaining C-Crosser, comfortable C5 and C6 saloons and the C3 Picasso recently voted Best Family Car by some motoring pundits.
