Ford Direct cars have been through a rigorous refurbishment process at a special Ford factory. These cars are available exclusively via main dealers. But be aware that many of the cars at main dealers may be from different sources (like their own customers) and will have been re-conditioned or prepared by the main dealer.
This means they may not have had the same level of inspection and will not have the official hologram or RAC paperwork. They should have most of the other benefits however and all dealers can have Ford Direct cars shipped to their forecourt for you.
Are the cars inspected?
“We don’t give our cars a Ford Direct security hologram easily. They all have to pass a thorough series of checks so that they meet all the Ford Direct standards. After each car has gone through the Ford used car reconditioning process, it is then put forward for a final RAC inspection.”
Do they have a history check?
“Every Ford Direct vehicle is checked on the National Mileage Register and given a comprehensive HPI check, which ensures there is no outstanding finance due on the vehicle, as well as other checks.”
What kind of cars do you sell?
“Cars under 4 years old and 50,000 miles.”
What’s included…
Warranty? “A two year unlimited mileage warranty, there are also no limits on the number of claims you can make.”
Exchange policy? “If you wish to change your Ford Direct vehicle for any reason, you may exchange it once within the first 30 days or 1,000 miles (whichever is the sooner) subject to a few sensible terms and conditions.”
Recovery? “Two years’ Ford Assistance roadside recovery.”
What else should I know?
“Vehicles comply with their original new Ford specification, including tool kits, spare keys and service packs.”
