I am so confused with so many peoples advice on what model to buy. I have looked at advice on your site.
I want a 5 dr hatchback for around £3,250 and obviously want a great car!
Do have someone who can check car over? I just want a car as a good run around with occasional long journeys.

Well, you don't need anyone to check the car over. If you download a buyers guide and get a datacheck, you will be fine.
Your budget allows you to look at a selection of small cars from 2003. Ford Fiestas, Vauxhall Corsas, Nissan Micras, Mitsubishi Colts, Peugeot 206s, Fiat Puntos are all possibilities.
Provided you buy a car with genuine average mileage, for the right money and it doesn't have any common faults, whichever one you pick will be fine.
So follow your heart a little bit and buy the one you enjoy the most.
