FORD has launched a new special edition Focus model aimed at blending sporty style with extra kit.
Named simply the Focus Sport, the car features the same 16-inch alloy wheels found on the stylish Focus ST hot hatch.
It also comes with the likes of sat-nav with European mapping, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, voice control, parking distance sensors, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and self-dimming rear-view mirror.
Two engines, the 1.6-litre 100PS petrol and the 1.6-litre 109PS TDCi – both with manual transmission – are available and the bodystyle is five-door.
Inside, the Sport benefits from upmarket Titanium grade seat fabric in "New York Ebony" and there is a choice of six body colours including Vision Blue.
Ford of Britain product manager David Calder said: "We wanted to create a stylish and practical package which represented outstanding value for money, and the Focus Sport delivers that.
“This is a vehicle that should appeal to our retail and fleet customers alike, and will continue to be offered alongside all-new Focus through 2011."
Prices, which are £700 more than Zetec trim but with £1,500 of equipment included, are £16,545 for the 1.6-litre petrol and £17,845 for the 1.6-litre TDCi.
