HONDA topped 90,000 UK sales for the first time in its history during 2004, and is looking to do even better this year.
And while the Japanese manufacturer's star performer has been the Jazz - Britain's second best selling five-door supermini among private buyers - there are some newcomers sure to make a big impact too.
Fresh to the market is the latest generation CR-V, or Compact Recreaional Vehicle, which aims to build on its million-selling pedigree.
Built at the company's Swindon plant, the new CR-V has new engine options including Honda's award-winning 2.2i CTDi diesel plus improved intelligent four-wheel drive that automatically engages only when required.
Honda has also introduced its newest compact people mover designed to take six passengers, with three in the front and three in the back.
The clever seating design means all three rear seats fold easily away into the floor leaving you with the equivalent load space of a small van.
Luggage space may be one of the main gripes for people buying MPVs, but the FR-V's configuration means there's adequate space for passengers and their belongings.
And as the gearchange is set into the dashboard there's no shortage of legroom in the front either.
The Civic remains the company's strongest selling range of cars, while the family-size Accord has seen sales increase by more than 50 per cent following the introduction of 2.2 i CTDi diesel models.
Popularity of the S2000 roadster sports car continues, with the model enjoying its most successful year in Britain - with sales running neck-and-neck with the Audi TT Coupe - in 2004.
