HONDA'S refreshed S2000 roadster is now on sale featuring new suspension settings to make it more exhilarating to drive.
The handling and performance characteristics have been enhanced by changes to the ride so that the new set-up is identical to that of its Japanese counterpart, the S2000 Type-S.
Re-tuned dampers, uprated springs and thicker anti-roll bars improve stability and endow it with more agile handling and more responsive steering.
Also featuring on the 2008 car are a new design of 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and the new paint colour of Synchro Silver.
Inside there are three new leather interiors comprising black with red stitching, brown with red stitching and red with black sides. There is also a design change to the headrest frame which has been re-shaped for better roll-over protection.
Other than that it is a case of leaving well alone, bearing in mind that the car attracted 560 buyers last year, which is considered good for such a specialised two-seater in the face of intense competition.
Prices start at £28,050 for the Roadster and £28,600 for the GT version with a detachable roof, placing both in direct competition with the new Mercedes SLK roadster.
