Hyundai i10 a real bargain - Hyundai I10 Car Review

Review

ONE of the reasons that the little Hyundai i10 supermini is such a bargain is that it comes with a five year unlimited mileage warranty which is transferable to subsequent owners.

But what they don't tell you is that it has to be inspected by a dealer at 12, 36 and 60 months for this to remain valid, and you have to pay.

That said, it's the only small car with such a long warranty.....and it is also good fun to drive and very well equipped even in entry Classic trim.

The 1.1-litre engine is smooth, willing and economical, the five speed gearbox has a slick easy change and the clutch is light.

It takes the corners much better than you might expect a small cheap car to, even on very skinny tyres.

It is safe and sure with good power steering, but there is not much side support in the seats and the ride is a bit lumpy in town.

With the scrappage scheme, you can have this little baby for the bargain price of £5,700.

Interior

Equipment is excellent for the price, with electric front windows, central locking, air conditioning, rear wash wipe, internally adjustable mirrors and twin airbags.

And although there's no height adjustment for the driver's seat it's comfortable for tall and short drivers with loads of headroom.
