JAGUAR has introduced some subtle revisions to its flagship XJ saloon range to bring the cars bang up to date and give them a more youthful appeal.
There is more modern exterior styling including a sportier front-end, side power vents, a rear aero spoiler, full-width chrome 'signature blade' and a new rear bumper.
Inside there are new seat designs and heated front seats become standard across the range with optional air-cooling.
Rear leg and foot room are increased as a result of redesigning the front seat backs, which also allows easier access to the back seats.
There are new 19-inch Polaris, Vela and Carelia alloy wheels and three new exterior paint colours.
There is a choice of V6 and V8 engines including a 2.7-litre V6 twin-turbo diesel and a 400bhp 4.2-litre supercharged petrol V8.
The latest Bluetooth connectivity enables up to five phones to be paired to the in-car telephone system and there is an optional JaguarWatch anti-theft device that uses satellite positioning to track the cars throughout Europe.
