CHRYSLER is showing four new models at the Frankfurt Motor Show including the next generation Jeep Cherokee which is due to go on sale early next summer.
The company says that the latest 4x4 it will have improved ride and handling thanks to new suspension plus more precise steering.
There will be an updated 2.8-litre diesel engine, full-time four-wheel drive plus a choice of six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmissions.
The exterior has been redesigned to make the vehicle look even more rugged and inside cargo and storage space have increased.
The seating is said to be better and there is a new optional full-length canvas roof.
The new Chrysler Grand Voyager people mover, Chrysler Sebring Cabrio and Dodge Journey are also on show.
The Grand Voyager will be on sale early next year with a new exterior and interior design and will feature the new 2.8-litre diesel engine.
The Chrysler Sebring Cabrio will also be launched in the UK in early 2008 with a choice of petrol and diesel engines.
The Dodge Journey is a seven seat crossover MPV that will be seen in mid-2008 and effectively replaces the standard version of the Voyager.
