KIA has added a fresh twist to its stylish Soul Originals line-up with the arrival of a new Soul Searcher model.

The ‘Originals’ are a collection of distinctive versions of the popular urban crossover, each with their own personality.

And from January 4, the quartet of Burner, Shaker, Tempest and Echo will be joined across the UK dealer network by the Soul Searcher.
The Searcher is available with eyecatching light green metallic paintwork, a cream and brown full leather interior, chrome front grille and door handles, roof rails, black bezel headlights, front and rear mud flaps as well as 18-inch silver alloy wheels.

Add to that some standard features like reversing sensors, front fog lights, electric folding door mirrors and privacy glass plus a cream and black dashboard to complement the upholstery and there’s some handy kit on offer.

Inside, the temperature can be adjusted to suit all passengers, with dual auto air conditioning and heated front seats, while there’s also an upgraded eight-speaker sound system – with subwoofer and external amplifier – Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.

A tilt and telescopic steering wheel with cruise control and wheel-mounted audio controls completes the package.

The Soul Searcher is powered by a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine and is available with either five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.

Safety features include the likes of six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, traction control together with assurance of a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

Prices are from  £16,965 for the manual version and £18,025 for the automatic, including VAT at the new 20 per cent rate.
