Question

With all the comments you have made in your section on hagglng (Haggle and win), what should I do before buying if I have a part exchange?

Should I get an agreed price for my car first, or haggle the price of the one I am interested in?

Answer

Hi,

If I were you, I would haggle the price of the car you are buying down as much as possible first.

Then I would bring up that you are interested in part exchanging and ask for the best offer. But check your prices before hand to see what you can get selling privately. (Use our price tool).

Then you should get best price for both cars.
