THE most sophisticated Range Rover to date will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
With a super-plush interior, the Autobiography Ultimate Edition will also feature two Apple iPads as standard – the first car to do so.
Aimed at the VIP chauffeur market, the flagship Range Rover has two individual electrically operated rear seats and an extended rear console which includes an aluminium laptop table and drinks chiller.
The iPads are mounted on the rear of the front seats allowing passengers to operate them easily on the move, although the car itself is not wi-fi enabled.
As well as bespoke leather and wooden trim the car also has a teak floor in the boot.
Range Rover is planning to produce only 500 versions of the hand-finished Ultimate models and although prices are still to be announced they are expected to be in the £100,000 region.
The cars will be powered either by Range Rover’s V8 diesel engine which can average more than 30mpg or the five-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine which produces a 0 to 60 time of less than six seconds.
