Mercedes is celebrating its 125th year and to mark the occasion the German luxury car maker will reveal its latest two-door C-Class Coupe at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
It will hit the streets in the UK from June and British customers will have a version which will have the AMG sports package as standard plus AMG styling and alloys.
The new coupe will come with a choice of three petrol engines and two diesel power plants all of which are fitted with direct injection engines and a stop/start function as standard.
The most economical model is the C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with manual six-speed transmission.
Mercedes claims it has an average diesel consumption of 64.2 mpg. The more powerful C 250 CDI isn’t far behind with a consumption of 57.6 mpg.
The new four-seater also comes with a range of driving assistance systems including Attention Assist drowsiness detection. This unique system is based on the latest radar, camera and sensor technology and warns the driver who may have been driving too closely and is about to drop off.
Interior features have been upgraded with even higher quality seating, trim and instruments plus a three-spoke steering wheel with chromed central spoke that first appeared on the new Mercedes CLS.
Prices for the new C-Class Coupe will be announced nearer the launch time.
