Question

HI

We are looking at buying a Mercedes ML 270 CDI

It is a year 2000 Y REg with 33,000 miles

It is £10,500 and has full Mercedes histoy.

It looks fantastic but there is some oil on the underside which worries me.

This is to settle an argument in our house so please help.

Thanks

Carl

Answer

Hi Carl,

Well it is very low mileage, but even taking that into account this is top money, so it needs to be as fantastic as you say. Really you should aim to get it down a little bit to £9,800 if buying at a dealer or £8,700 if buying privately.

And even then, you should have the oil leak fixed first, or get even more off....
