TWO NEW variations on MG's Z-car theme have been launched this week - one designed to appeal to company car drivers and the other to provide lower cost entry into the company's medium car range.
The new ZT 120 is designed to appeal to both fleet managers and user-chooser company car drivers.
With a price tag of £15,995 it's almost £3,000 cheaper than the previous entry level model, and with a 120 Ps version of Rover's 1.8-litre K Series engine it produces 184 g/km of CO2 emissions to qualify for a 20 per cent BiK personal tax rating, making it considerably more tax-efficient for company car drivers than other models in the range.
Available as a saloon or ZT-T estate, the 120 has a high level of specification including air conditioning, sports seats and single slot CD system. A new 17" Mirage five-spoke alloy distinguishes the 120 models, with a boot lid lip spoiler on the ZT saloon.
Meanwhile there's a new low price starter version of the MG ZS priced at £10,995. The new ZS 110 five door comes with the 1.6-litre K Series engine and a specification which includes sports seats, 15" Mirage five-spoke alloy wheels, tailgate spoiler and single slot CD stereo system.
