NISSAN is enabling Micra owners to give their cars the MINI treatment, with a new range of trendy accessories to make each model as unique as possible.
They range from headlamp covers to potato peelers and from DVD players to frisbees. All are intended to provide the same sort of unique style that works so successfully with the MINI.
Connect up the DVD multimedia player between the front seats, place the popcorn in the cupholder and hours of screaming children can be replaced with the sound of Scooby Doo, Shrek or Pokemon.
There's a choice of three types of satellite navigation system, including the Birdview system which has a pop-up screen, plus two types of arrow and voice-based systems. The interior look and feel can be enhanced with a range of silver or beige trims that fit around the instrument binnacle and air vents.
There are headlamp covers, alloy wheels, a full spoiler kit, mats and flaps. There are Micra clothes accessories, including a sleeveless body warmer, known as a gilet, and even a Micra frisbee and kite.
There are Micra household accessories too, including Cappuccino and espresso cups, slanted glasses, salt and pepper pots, a garlic press, bottle openers and can openers, all styled with Japanese-influenced lines. There are even alarm clocks, a radio, candle-holders and a Micra badged torch.
