NISSAN has announced some specification tweaks to its Micra range, which will become effective from October.
There will also be a special version for a limited time called Acenta+, which is based on the standard Acenta trim level but gains 15-inch alloy wheels to replace the standard steel wheels.
The price to pay for the fancy wheels is an extra £200.
There are some cosmetic styling changes to the front and sides of the cars, some different alloy wheels and a new colour called faded denim taken from the Qashqai.
Inside there is a choice of black or beige and chocolate whilst the seats are now sport sculpted for all Micra C+C models and for the hatchback from the Acenta trim level upwards.
An MP3 jack socket is included on all models and most get an audible speed limit warning to help drivers' protect their licences. A hands-free telephone system becomes standard on all C+Cs and from Acenta for the hatchback.
Prices for the hatchback remain largely unchanged with the range starting from £7,495.
The only increase is £150 to the newly-badged Tekna model, which is currently the Sport, to cover the cost of rear parking sensors, automatic lights and rain-sensing wipers.
The C+C starts at £13,550 for the Visia, which is an increase of £50 whilst the rest of the C+C range increases by £150 to include the cost of the rear parking sensors.
The new trim levels are Visia, Acenta, Acenta+, Tekna, Active Luxury and the 160SR.
