Question

Hi

How much do you think I can get off the price of a Nissan Primera?

I have a £5000 budget with no car to trade in.

Thanks,

Answer

Hi

If you really want a Nissan Primera, as its getting on a bit, you should check out private sellers in the classifieds. Especially as you have no car to trade in.

With that budget, you can make offers on 2004 and 2005 year cars. They will be on th emarket at £5,500 - £6,000 and you should be able to get £500 off if you are very charming and really can't go over £5,000.

If you get more than £500 off from a dealer, you should give up the day job and go into the business yourself!
