PEUGEOT has launched a new 107 Sportium special edition with £1,050 worth of extra specification for only £350 more than the standard vehicle.

This latest city car version, which replaces the previous Envy model, costs £9,945, has unique white interior detailing and is available for £189 per month under Peugeot’s Just Add Fuel scheme.

Based on the standard 107 Urban model, the Sportium is available with a 1.0-litre petrol engine and five-speed manual gearbox.

It is aimed at money-saving motoring with CO2 emissions of 103g/km, zero road tax and a combined fuel consumption of 62.7mpg.

Both three and five door models are available and standard kit includes electric power steering, four airbags, remote control central locking, electric front windows, height adjustable steering, stereo radio / single CD player with MP3 socket, ABS and colour-coded door handles.

The extra spec comprises tinted rear windows, 14-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and white door mirror covers and interior detailing, plus there’s a choice of five body colours. Five-door models cost an extra £350.

Peugeot has also expanded its 207 Sportium range with the introduction of two new engine options plus a Clarion multi-media navigation system with Bluetooth.

Based on the 207 Active model, the supermini comes with a choice of 1.4-litre 8v and 1.4 VTi 95 petrol engines or 1.4-litre HDi 70 and 1.6-litre HDi 92 diesels.

All eight models come with a comprehensive spec list, including £1,215 worth of extras for a £350 premium, and prices are from £12,095 for the 207 Sportium 1.4 8v 75 three-door model rising to £14,395 for the Sportium 1.6 HDi 92 five-door.
