PEUGEOT has strengthened the appeal of its popular 3008 crossover model with the arrival of extra standard kit.
Sport models now get Peugeot Connect USB with Bluetooth, which enables a portable MP3 player or iPod to be connected to the car, and hands-free communication with a compatible mobile phone.
Also new is a flat folding passenger seat to increase the car’s flexibility, plus automatic headlamps and windscreen wipers.
Those opting for the already well equipped Exclusive model can now enjoy the same extras as the Sport, along with electric folding mirrors, electro-chrome interior mirror and exterior courtesy lights.
And from this month the 3008 will also be available with a new Euro 5 112 HDi diesel engine, which replaces the previous HDi 110 Euro 4 unit, providing improved CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
Prices are from £16,695 for the Active 1.6 VTi 120 while the new 112 diesel costs from £18,295.
Since its launch last November the Peugeot 3008 crossover has won two major UK awards and recorded more than 10,000 sales in the UK this year.
