FANCY driving a car to Geneva and then winning it?
That's the offer being made by Peugeot to people who fancy their chances in a novel eco competition staged to coincide with the opening of Europe's most glamorous motor show.
The French firm is making a total of 72 places available to motorists from 18 countries in a competition to find the most fuel-efficient drivers over a 1,000km route from Paris to Geneva.
Entrants will compete in four different models - including the award winning 308 and 3008 models - and the four drivers with the best consumption figures will get the keys to the cars in a ceremony at the show.
'So far, we've had 1,500 entries from Spain and almost as many from France. Surprisingly, Britain is lagging behind in enties - with the cost of fuel here, our drivers could well prove to have what it takes to stretch every drop to max,' said Peugeot UK managing director Jon Goodman.
