A NEW engine and transmission package have boosted the appeal of the flagship model in the Peugeot 308 range.
The upgrade to a 156bhp turbo petrol motor and the latest six-speed automatic gearbox further strengthens the image of the CC version as well as cutting fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, claims the company.
Costing from £23,595, the car is now seven per cent more fuel efficient and uses 'smart' technology to adapt to the way it is being driven.
'We have paid particular attention to the quality and speed of the gear changes in terms of smoothness, synchronisation and responsiveness and the result is an even more distinctive and dynamic vehicle,' said a spokesman.
