THE Porsche Panamera grand tourer will cost from £72,266 when it goes on sale in September.
The four-door, four seat high performance car will be available with a choice of rear or all wheel drive with the top range models costing from £95,298.
The rear-wheel drive Panamera S is offered with a six-speed manual gearbox. Porsche's Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) seven speed double-clutch transmission is available as an option for £2,289.
The top range Panamera 4S and Turbo models have four-wheel drive and feature the PDK gearbox as standard.
Powered by a 4.8-litre V8 petrol engine developing 400bhp the Panamera S has a claimed top speed of 176mph, 0 to 60 time of 5.4 seconds while averaging 26.2mpg. CO2 emissions are 253g/km.
With twin turbos the top range model develops 500bhp resulting in a 0 to 60 time of 4.2 seconds, a top speed approaching 200mph with average fuel economy of 23.2mpg and emissions 286g/km.
To back up its supercar performance with true GT qualities, the Panamera has boot of around 15 cubic feet depending on model, which can be expanded to more than 40cu ft by folding the rear seats.
The car goes on sale in Britain on September 12.
