PROTON has added some valuable equipment to its Impian saloon model at no extra charge in a bid to boost sales.

It includes air conditioning with pollen filters, traction control, 16-inch alloy wheels and parking sensors.

The interior has been updated with new fabrics and a new steering wheel, with GSX models gaining leather upholstery.

All models now have front and side air bags, an RDS radio and CD player with steering wheel controls and a six-CD changer becomes an option at £250.

There is a new range of metallic colours and a tailgate spoiler becomes a no-cost option on the 1.6 GSX.

Prices are £10,995 for the Impian 1.6 GLS and £11,995 for the 1.6 GSX.
