How much do you take off the price of a vehicle when it has higher mileage than average?

An 08 08 Grand Scenic Dynamique S 1.5 DCi is being offered for £10,450 with 33,000 miles on the clock.

Answer

The amount to adjust the price by depends on the value of the car, the age of the car and its market popularity.

Our used car price tool does it automatically, and having had a look on it just now I can see that average mileage is 13-18,000 miles (depending on where in the country you are.

At that mileage a fair price is around £11,600... adjusted for mileage it is £10,557

So your deal is spot on - well done
