REVISIONS are revealed for Renault's Espace and Grand Espace people-carrier range, with a general price rise in the pipeline.
Flushed with sales success the range gets a new variant, which the company believes will quickly become the UK favourite.
The new Dynamique trim version aims to combine sportier looks with a mid-level equipment specification.
It will be available in a choice of two petrol and three diesel engines, including the 3.0 V6 dCi Auto and 3.5 V6 Auto which were only previously available with top-of-the-range Privilège and Initiale trim.
The new model is based on the mid-range Expression adding new high-gloss 17-inch alloy wheels, dual front automatic climate control, extra tinted glass on the rear windows and tailgate, a heat-reflecting windscreen, carbon and beige interior trim with new part leather sports seats and roof bars.
Other Espace trim levels are also revised, starting with the entry-level Authentique, which gains dark upholstery and carbon and beige trim.
Privilège versions get £850 worth of rear parking sensors, hands-free Renault Card for ignition and locking, roof bars, rain-sensitive front windscreen wipers and automatic front headlamps at no extra cost.
Several Espace and Grand Espace models disappear including 3.0 V6 and 3.5 V6 dCi Privilèges and 2.0T 16V Initiale Espaces plus the 1.9 dCi Expression and 2.0T 16V Initiale versions of the Grand Espace.
From January the price of an Espace and Grand Espace will rise by an average of about £300.
