MOMENTUM is building for next months launch of the new Renault Kangoo Van.
Renault hopes to meet the needs of a wider variety of customers by making the van available in two body styles for the first time, the Kangoo and Kangoo Compact.
The Kangoo Compact has a payload of 500kg and a load area of 2.3 square metres and is aimed at those who require greater manoeuvrability in an urban environment. The Kangoo Van offers increased dimensions with a load area of three square metres which can take a payload of 650 to 800kg.
Features which both models have in common are a standard steel bulkhead for extra safety, security and reduced cabin noise, Bluetooth compatibility, a sliding roof flap for taller loads, ply lining for the entire load area and a multi-function TunePoint system which allows mp3 players and memory sticks to be controlled from the steering column.
The vans will also come with an improved warranty of three years or 100,000 miles, which reflects Renault's confidence in the improved quality that it says it has introduced across the range.
Prices start at £8,690 for the Kangoo Compact and £9,390 for the Kangoo Van.
