RENAULT has revised its Scenic MPV range and increased its attractiveness to private buyers with the introduction of some special editions.
The latest model features a front end facelift with a new chrome grille and black headlight surrounds similar to that on the Megane GT models.
There is also the addition of a special edition called Team, which replaces Extreme and Expression versions of the five-seat Scenic and both the five and seven-seat Grand Scenic.
Prices are still from £14,495 but there is an increase in equipment to include metallic paint, satin chrome door handles and body-coloured door mirrors externally.
Inside there is air conditioning, RDS CD-radio, leather steering wheel, automatic handbrake and front and rear electric windows plus dark grey upholstery with blue stitching and the same charcoal cabin finish as that of Dynamique versions.
The line up starts from £14,495 for the Scenic 1.4 model, £15,745 for the five-seater Grand Scenic 1.6 and from £15,995 for the seven-seater Grand Scenic 1.6, rising to £19,190 for the same model powered by the 130bhp 1.9-litre diesel engine with automatic transmission.
In addition to the standard kit on Team models, the Dynamique versions feature 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, cruise control and speed limiter.
The flagship Dynamique S adds automatic lights and wipers, climate control, extra tinted windows, hands-free entry and ignition card and sliding centre console.
An optional City Pack at £300 comprises rear parking sensors plus automatic lights and wipers.
Other bundled accessories are the Comfort Pack which now includes an electric panoramic sunroof, hands-free card and electrically folding door mirrors and a Convenience Pack comprising rear parking sensors, sliding centre console storage unit with integrated armrests, courtesy lights, accessory power point and cup holders plus black roof bars.
A Handling Pack includes ESP and traction control, understeer control and tyre pressure monitoring.
